EDEN FARMS AND GRAND EVENTS EAST JOIN FORCES
TO SERVE CLIENTS BETTER
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, CONNECTICUT, OCTOBER 2004 - EDEN FARMS, a Stamford Garden Center & Florist on Stillwater, has been expanding over the years and has most recently formed a partnership with Kari Campano of GRAND EVENTS EAST to offer in-home and on-site floral consultations. Over the past 5 years, floral designer Sue Jagodzinski has helped to build the EDEN FARMS floral shop in which customers can come in to discuss their floral needs or call on the phone to place a delivery order. Now, Eden Farms can send party planner and designer Kari Campano off-site to client's homes or party location to discuss their decorative needs.
"In many situations, it's important to visit the party or event environment to help create good floral designs," claims Campano. "There are many variables including height of arrangements, colors, flower choices, design styles and containers. When I visit a location, I can assist the client in determining the right choices for their needs. Also, as a part of our service, we can now offer clients with other decorative services including specialty linen rentals, on-site balloon work, lighting designs, prop rentals, theme décor, and more. Clients value this service because they often don't have time to do all the legwork themselves. They also enjoy the convenience of having to contact only one person for all of their party and event needs."
This partnership benefits GRAND EVENTS EAST as well because EDEN FARMS now serves as its floral department and can offer its clients a better product at lower prices. Often floral designers without retail space must charge more for their work because of the waste of unused product. In combining forces, GRAND EVENTS shares this savings with its clients giving them more for their money. Respective designers Campano and Jagodzinski have also enjoyed teaming up together and sharing in the design work for clients on both sides and EDEN FARMS can now serve a broader marketplace with its off-site consultations.
Eden Farms is owned and operated by Terry and Marshall Condon who have been in business for 10 years. Eden Farms is a full service nursery, garden center and florist serving lower Fairfield County.
